পরিচ্ছেদঃ ২৪৩: নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর প্রতি দরূদ ও সালাম পেশ করার আদেশ, তার মাহাত্ম্য ও শব্দাবলী
৭/১৪১১। আলী রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, “প্রকৃত কৃপণ সেই ব্যক্তি, যার কাছে আমি উল্লিখিত হলাম (আমার নাম উচ্চারিত হল), অথচ সে আমার প্রতি দরূদ পাঠ করল না।” (তিরমিযী, হাসান সহীহ) [1]
(243) بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِالصَّلَاةِ عَلٰى رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَفَضْلِهَا وَبَعْضِ صِيَغِهَا
وَعَنْ عَلِيّ رضي الله عنه قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم : «البَخِيلُ مَنْ ذُكِرْتُ عِنْدَهُ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيَّ» . رواه الترمذي، وقال: حديث حسن صحيح
(243) Chapter: The Obligation of Supplicating Allah to Exalt His Mention and its Excellence, and its Manner
'Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The miser is the one in whose presence I am mentioned but he does not supplicate for me."
[At- Tirmidhi].
Commentary: "Miser'' means to deny someone his right. If a Muslim does not supplicate for him upon hearing his name, then such a person is a miser beyond doubt. Thus, we learn that one must recite Salat when he hears the name of the Prophet (PBUH). It is sufficient to say May Allah render him from evil and exalt his mention) for this purpose.
