পরিচ্ছেদঃ ৩২: দুর্বল, গরীব ও খ্যাতিহীন মুসলিমদের মাহাত্ম্য
৭/২৬৩। উসামাহ রাদিয়াল্লাহু ’আনহু থেকে বর্ণিত, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, ’’আমি জান্নাতের দরজায় দাঁড়ালাম। অতঃপর দেখলাম যারা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করেছে তাদের অধিকাংশ গরীব-মিসকীন মানুষ। আর ধনবানদেরকে (তখনও হিসাবের জন্য) আটকে রাখা হয়েছে। পক্ষান্তরে (অন্যান্য) জাহান্নামীদেরকে জাহান্নামে নিক্ষেপ করার আদেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে। আর আমি জাহান্নামের দরজায় দাঁড়িয়ে দেখলাম যে, যারা তাতে প্রবেশ করেছে তাদের বেশীর ভাগই নারীর দল। (বুখারী ও মুসলিম) [1]
(32) - بَابُ فَضْلِ ضِعْفَةِ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَالْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْخَامِلِيْنَ
258وعن أُسامَة رضي اللَّه عنه عن النبي صَلّى االلهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قال : » قُمْتُ عَلَى بابِ الْجنَّةِ ، فَإِذَا عامَّةُمَنْ دخَلَهَا الْمَسَاآِينُ ، وأَصْحابُ الجَدِّ محْبُوسُونَ غيْر أَنَّ أَصْحاب النَّارِ قَدْ أُمِر بِهِمْ إِلَى النَّارِ . وقُمْتُ عَلَىبابِ النَّارِ فَإِذَا عامَّةُ منْ دَخَلَهَا النِّسَاءُ « متفقٌ عليه .«وَالجَدُّ « بفتحِ الجيم : الحظُّ والْغِني . وقوله : » محْبُوسُونَ « أَيْ : لَمْ يُؤذَنْ لهُمْ بَعْدُ فِي دُخُول الجَنَّةِ .
(32) Chapter: Superiority of Poor, Weak and unrenowned Muslims
Usamah bin Zaid (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I stood at the gate of Jannah, and (I saw) that the majority of those who entered it are the poor, and the wealthy were kept confined. The inmates of the Fire had been ordered to (enter) the Fire (Hell), and I stood at the gate of Hell and saw that the majority of its inmates are women".

Commentary: The Prophet (PBUH) was told about the state of affairs in Jannah and Hell by means of Wahy
(Revelation). In some cases, the conditions of the inhabitants of Jannah and Hell were shown to him by means of dreams. The Prophet (PBUH) stated that one of the main reasons for a greater number of women in Hell is that they are more ungrateful to their husbands. Women refered to in the Hadith are those who do not follow the Divine injuctions and do not discharge their duty towards Allah.
