পরিচ্ছেদঃ ২৩৪: জিহাদ ওয়াজিব এবং তাতে সকাল-সন্ধ্যার মাহাত্ম্য
৩৮/১৩৩০। আনাস রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, “যে ব্যক্তি সত্য সত্যই শাহাদত চায়, তাকে তা দেওয়া হয়; যদিও (প্রত্যক্ষভাবে) শাহাদত নসীব না হয়।” (মুসলিম) [1]
(234) بَابُ فَضْلِ الْـجِهَادِ
وَعَن أَنَسٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى الله عليه وسلم : «مَنْ طَلَبَ الشَّهَادَةَ صَادِقاً أُعْطِيَهَا وَلَوْ لَمْ تُصِبْهُ». رواه مسلم
(234) Chapter: Obligation of Jihad
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who supplicates sincerely for martyrdom, it will be granted to him even though he is not killed on the battlefield."
[Muslim].
Commentary: This Hadith tells us the benefit and reward of good intention. It induces one to cherish good intentions and wish for noble deeds. Even if one is not able to fulfill some of them, he will get their reward. For this reason, every Muslim should wish for martyrdom so that he can attain this distinction.
