পরিচ্ছেদঃ ৫০: আল্লাহ ও তাঁর আযাবকে ভয় করা
৪/৪০৪। সামুরাহ ইবনু জুনদুব রাদিয়াল্লাহু ’আনহু থেকে বর্ণিত, আল্লাহর নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, ’’জাহান্নামীদের মধ্যে কিছু লোকের পায়ের গাঁট পর্যন্ত আগুন হবে, কারো হাঁটু পর্যন্ত, কারো কোমর পর্যন্ত এবং কারো কারো কণ্ঠাস্থি (গলার নিচের হাড়) পর্যন্ত হবে।’’ (মুসলিম) [1]
بَابُ الْخَوْفِ - (50)
وَعَن سَمُرَةَ بنِ جُندُبٍ رضي الله عنه: أنَّ نَبيَّ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَ:«مِنْهُمْ مَنْ تَأخُذُهُ النَّارُ إِلَى كَعْبَيهِ، وَمنْهُمْ مَنْ تَأخُذُهُ إِلَى رُكْبَتَيهِ، وَمنْهُمْ مَنْ تَأخُذُهُ إِلَى حُجزَتِهِ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ تَأخُذُهُ إِلَى تَرْقُوَتِهِ ». رواه مسلم «الحُجْزَةُ « : مَعْقِدُ الإِزارِ تحْتَ السُّرَّةِ . و » التَّرْقُوَةُ « بفتحِ التاءِ وضم القاف : هِي العظْمُ الذِي عِندَ ثُغْرةِالنَّحْرِ ، وللإِنْسَانِ ترْقُوَتانِ في جَانِبَي النَّحْرِ
(50) Chapter: Fear (of Allah)
Samurah bin Jundub (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Among the people of Hell are there those who will be emersed in fire to their ankels, some to their knees, some to their waists, and some to their throats".
[Muslim].
Commentary: This Hadith tells us that the inhabitants of Jannah will be classified into different categories and enjoy different kinds of luxuries according to their merits. A similar classification will also be made in the inhabitants of Hell and they will suffer torments according to their misdeeds.
